CES2013: DTS Headphone X

This year’s CES has produced a few interesting products from the audio world, with one of the most intriguing being DTS Headphone X.

The idea of taking a home theatre system (11.1, for example) and packing that into a small pair of multi-driver headphones is not new – but DTS have beaten everyone to market. Several links are available for the new release including a YouTube video and a review.

I’ll be watching this closely and with any new updates that I find – they’ll be posted here!

Not sure what you’re on about – Dolby have been doing it for years with Dolby headphone and Dolby mobile.

I thought Dolby’s headphone system only supported up to 7 meaning DTS are the first to simulate 11.1?
